Putting your Work(s) at Work
(To Rehearse, To Make Public)
This seminar is a platform to present and discuss your research and artworks in order to put them at work with others.
Each session will involve live presentations of works followed by discussions.
A focus of our exchanges will be to raise questions and debates about modes of rehearsal and how the works are made public.
The presentation should be performed live and can be a work at any state of its development. It might be performance material in process, an excerpt of a piece, something you are rehearsing at the moment, something you have already presented and you wish to rework, something that you make specifically for this seminar, anything you wish to share in order to put it at work and discuss with the participants of the seminar. It can be anything as long as it is performed live and comes with a question that you would like to address.
Each participant is invited to present their works as well as to discuss the works of others. Ideally, and according to the number of presentation and participants, each work should be presented and discussed 2 times during the semester.
The evaluation is based on the participation in the debates and in the presentation of work or, on a written report for those who are not part of any work presentation.
The course will not take place November 19th and December 10th
